Tomo Trio consists of three Japanese pianists (Haruyo Yoshino-Platt, Kanae Nobori, and Tomoko Inui), is currently playing piano concerts together in Montreal area. Their concert programs offer a wide rage of music, with solo, four hands, and six hands, especially connecting Western and Eastern music. Particularly, 6 hands music has been a great attraction. In 2007, they toured several cities in Japan. The 2009-2010 season, the trio has provided many concerts of "Opera Transcription" series and "Schumania" celebrating Schumann's 200th anniversaries. For the next season (2010-2011), Tomo Trio's engagements include "Traveling through the world with Piano Music" concert at the Maison de la Culture, such as at Frontenac and Pierrefonds-Roxboro |
